Chess 101!
Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 PM
- Have you always wanted to learn how to play chess?
- Are you tired of being beaten by your friends and relatives?
- Are you fascinated by the intellectual challenge of one of the world's oldest and most challenging games?
If so, then join us at the East Bay Chess Club for Chess 101, a new beginning classes designed for teenagers and adults who are interested in an introduction to chess. This five week program will provide an overview to the key aspects of the game and will provide time to play and practice the concepts covered in class!
If you are looking for afterschool tutoring in academic subjects and chess, take a look at our Homework & Chess program! If you are looking to enroll a younger child in a chess class, take a look at our Friday scholastic chess class!
Details:
- When: Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 PM
- Classes are always forming, so contact us to sign up for the next session!
- Where: The East Bay Chess Club (1940 Virginia Street, Berkeley, CA)
- Cost: $75 for a 5-week session
