Announcement: The Wednesday Night action tournaments have been going every week steadily for a long time now. To add a little spice and maybe attract a few different players, we will experiment with holding a monthly action championship, the last Wednesday of each month, with an entry fee and prizes (100% of entries will go to the prizes).

Location: 1940 Virginia St., Berkeley, CA
(cross street Milvia, only a short walk from Downtown and North Berkeley BART)
Registration/Check-in: 7-7:30 PM the day of the tournament.

Rounds: 7:30 PM, 8:45 PM, 10:00 PM
All games will be over by 11:00 PM.
Time control: Game in 30 minutes.
Entry fee: Free to East Bay Chess Club Members!
Usual $5 single day drop-in charge for non-members.
